The StackMachine is our proprietary Building Information Modeling system. It captures all of the critical information about the project - including its representation as a 3-D model and its cost - in a database structure. The result is an “X-D” model, from which a variety of different data types can be produced, including on-screen material take-off, virtual scheduling, energy modeling, clash detection, and pre-visualization.
Autodesk’s groundbreaking Revit Building Information Modeling software forms the basis of our design and coordination platform. Unlike a traditional design drawing process, we construct the project first, as a highly detailed, 3-D computer model. We then slice it up into the traditional drawing deliverables that are useful and familiar to vendors, trade contractors, and building officials. We allow clients to enter and experience the project virtually, a process that never fails to thrill, delight and provoke valuable insight to aid the design.
The StackMachine creates a platform for owners, design professionals, construction managers and trade contractors to come together to coordinate the project virtually on the front end and reduce costly surprises during onsite construction.
