Providence real estate developer Green Lot engaged Stack as part of the Integrated Design of a new 18,000 sf LEED Gold Office Development in Providence's Olneyville neighborhood. Stack's role in the Integrated Design process was to utilize its comprehensive CostMachine and Energy Modeling expertise to evaluate both the first costs and the annual operating costs of numerous proposed envelope designs and systems selections. The Integrated Design process leveraged selection of the optimal combination of envelope and systems based on a holistic study of their relative costs and performance.

The envelope designs and systems selected for evaluation were developed by the project designer, distill studio, in conjunction with Green Lot, Stack, Colby Co. Engineering, Integrated Environmental Solutions, and numerous other parties that are stakeholders in the project’s outcome, consistent with the Integrated Design methodology.
