A SHIPPING-CONTAINER OFFICE BUILDING IN PROVIDENCE, RI
Stack, together with Distill Studio and Truth Box LLC, is currently in construction
on the Box Office, an 11,000 sf office building in the Olneyville neighborhood of Providence.
32 shipping containers are upcycled into 12 office/studio spaces; the resulting building will be 20% more energy-efficient
than required by code. The building is the first multi-story permanent shipping container building in the US,
and will be ready for occupancy in spring 2010. The project has appeared in the
